Blueberry & Lavender Jam
3 cups blueberry
¾ cups sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice with zest
Combine berries and sugar is saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stir frequently
Add lavender buds and lemon. Simmer for 15 min or until desired consistency.
Pour into sterilized jar and refrigerate for up to 3 months.

On my third jar of jam this season as berry season continues here in New England. While there’s so many different ways to make it, I’ve found this is consistently the easiest way (modify for canning, of course). I like to freeze mine when I’m not actively using it or if there’s spare jars. Freezing usually stays good for about 3 months. Once you get the hang of it, there’s so many combinations to try.
