Golden Milk (Turmeric Latte)

A turmeric latte, or "golden milk," is a healthy beverage because it combines turmeric's powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties with the soothing and digestive benefits of ginger and cinnamon. The key compound in turmeric, curcumin, supports joint health, boosts immunity, and promotes brain function. Combined with warm milk and a touch of healthy fats like ghee or coconut oil, which enhance curcumin absorption, this comforting drink offers a natural and delicious way to support overall well-being and protect against various chronic conditions.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond milk)

• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

• 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

• Pinch of black pepper

• 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

• 1/2 teaspoon ghee or coconut oil (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.

2. Whisk in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper.

3. Continue to whisk until the mixture is warm and well-combined.

4. Remove from heat and stir in honey and ghee, if using.

5. Pour into a cup and enjoy warm.
